My Gurus, Healers and Teachers

I would first like to pay tribute to my mentors, gurus, teachers and healers who have changed my life.

I will always be eternally grateful for all I have learned when the Universe sent the right people to me.

In the year 1993, I met the adi gurus (first teachers) Frances Carrigan and Tova Olkinetsky, who are the intuitive educators who saved my life and taught me the connection of mind body healing and that everyone has the ability to self-heal.  They owned Stress Release Technology

I give a deep gratitude of thanks to my gurus (teachers) Olivia Heminway & Jethro Pettit, who are my first yoga teachers, that I met in 1999.  Under their compassionate teaching, I began to deeply understand yoga of the mind meditation.  I practiced with them three days a week as well as my personal practice until they moved to the UK in 2001.

It is with the most humble gratitude that I was blessed by the Reverend Master Parthasarathi Rajagopalachari when he certified me to teach Raja Yoga.*  www.Heartfulness.org*

After being crippled for three years with a pinched nerve in my back, I had a very successful laser surgery in 1997. I began to search for ways to keep my body and my spine healthy.  My search led me to study Pilates.  I am thankful for Romana Kryzanowska, the world-renowned protege’ of Joseph Pilates and the Authentic Pilates of NYC, NY for teaching the Pilates method to me.

My first hatha yoga teacher so inspired me to become a teacher. Thank you Rachel Mor, an amazing instructor; thus began my journey into the body movement of yoga.

I appreciate the Ayur Yoga instruction of Valerie Kit Love, who helped me on the path of teaching the body movement of yoga in the year 2001. I have over 300 hours of instruction from her studio.

Another amazing guru is Dr. Amit Gumman, who is an Ayurvedic doctor.  Many yoga teachers believe that yoga is a part of Ayurvedic Science.  I am grateful for Dr. Gumman’s deep knowledge and vast understanding of pranayama, meditation, relaxation, Ayurvedic nutrition and acupuncture.

I have humble gratitude to Beth Wellman, The Master Reiki Teacher, who taught me the art of hands healing.

I am so happy to have studied with the famous Iyengar teacher, Judith Lasater, Ph.D., P.T.

Another wonderful Iyengar teacher is Kari Tomashik.  So happy I could learn from her.

Thank you, Pretti and Shanay for your knowledge of the pure Do Terra medicinal oils I use in class.

I bow deeply to Q V Tran, who taught us ShoDo Tai Chi.

My lastest studies took me to Kundalini Yoga with The Dear Guru Gwen Ingram.

Thank you my gurus.

Most of all, I would like to thank all my students, who teach me every day.
